A gun idea |8:40 AM|
What does a revolver have over an automatic? Reliability. The mechanism in a revolver is far simpler than even the most basic automatic pistol. If a shot fails to ignite in an automatic, you have to pull the slide back to eject the round, and you're lucky if the gun doesn't jam. This is a relatively time consuming procedure, and if the weapon jams in a certain fashion, it becomes worthless until it can be taken apart. A revolver, on the other hand, almost never jams. There's nothing TO jam. If a bullet is a misfire, you pull the trigger again, the cylinder rotates, and another bullet comes into place.

What does an automatic have over a revolver? Capacity. Firing speed. The reload time of a revolver is many times longer than the act of changing the clip/magazine in an automatic.

What if you could combine the elements of both guns and get a happy medium? A highly reliable, simple mechanism gun with the capacity of an automatic, that when it misfires you pull the trigger to load the next round? A gun with a reload time closer to an automatic than a revolver?

Can a chain fed pistol be constructed? A feed chain with the pistol rounds would lead from the firing chamber into the body of the gun. In the handle, where the magazine of a normal automatic would go, would be storage space for this chain. The chain itself would be removable, reusable, and would hold onto the brass casings of the bullets until it is reloaded.

Expanded a bit |4:21 AM|
Holy shit.

-> Got my car back from the shop.
The removed the pinstripes, just like they said they would, along with the "Jet Alone" stickers. Until they had been pointed out to me, I never noticed my pinstripes, but I have to say my car looks sleeker without them. The body work was pricey, but I got a lot done, and several components replaced. The right front fender skirt no longer scrapes the tired on hills or potholes. It's a nice ride.

As I have cancelled plans to purchase a new vehicle, I'm going to get this one "detailed". That's when I hire people to go over the car with a toothbrush. I wonder if there's a car dehumidifier? It's awfully "Muggy" feeling in there. I might just need to wait until it's sunny and then drive around with all the windows down.

-> Went to Perdanallis falls today

It was very pretty, and relaxing, despite jumping from rock to rock.

-> Got arrested by the goddamn FUR FUZZ

More details as I have energy to write them out.
