Do jedi say "suck it"? |12:04 PM|
I saw the latest Star Wars movie, and I won't bore any reader of this blog with yet another review. I enjoyed it, I believe I got my money's worth. That's what's important at the moment, movie wise.
I went to the midnight showing, which required a hell of a lot of waiting around, and finally getting home at 3am. I was already dead tired starting yesterday, as I had chilled out with Vorpal as he did his line waiting for good seats for the movie. For a speed freak who used to not sleep a whole lot, I'm awfully tired, and my head keeps bobbing down.
It appears I finally have just enough money to get some medication, my adderall, so I can go back to normal. It's been a month and a half since I had access to an Adderall prescription, and it has been incredibly rough. I just need to wait until tommorow, pick up the script, get it filled, and HUZZAH, back to fully functional brain. Maybe I'll write something. I'll have that ability for the first time in ages.
Outside the theater were a bunch of cameramen, taking photos and getting first reactions from folks. Some were apparently part of a documentry crew for "South by Southwest". One of these documenters asked if I and Vorpal's brother would re-enact a scene from the movie, with the light saber he was proffering. We agreed, and I don't know if he had started taping, but when he pointed the camera at Vorpal's brother and I, I flicked open the the plastic prop, brought it over my head and pointed it's tip into Daren's then opened mouth. I'm sure he stopped taping when I yelled
"Suck it!" and Daren made lip-puckering movements.
He took the saber away, and shooed us.
