I was once again reminded that the difference between being familiar with the theory of lockpicking and practical experience (not to mention, proper tools) is signifigant. Locked out of my laundry room this morning, I could only look at the pile of clothes that belonged to me, sitting on the folding table off on the left. The windows were locked, and the door would not budge.
With the office closed, and my laundry room key turning out to be an extra mail key, I didn't have a lot of options. A pair of tiny screwdrivers allowed me to move two of the pins into place, but seeing as there were going to be about 8 pins and the first two had taken ages, I was better off throwing water onto the bricks to erode them away.
Anyway, this post is really just a reminder to me to pick up a new key and get that load of laundry switched over.
