Catapulted drive |10:11 AM| Vorpal isn't coming on the first leg of trip I'm taking to Phoenix. He'll be arriving at a later time, but it's just me in the car.

For 17 hours.

I give myself about even odds of mentally surviving the trip out there. The last time I did this drive, I had an intensely cool person with me. Zusty made one of the best possible road trip companions, and I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it there without her. Or at least, someone's help.

With that much time to myself, I wonder if I'll come up with any interesting ideas. I'll surely need to get a good night's sleep tonight.
