Spoke to my pop, the doctor, and ran a bunch of my...uh..."Frankenstein's Lab" ideas. The active transport heme, the blood pump ring, the secondary heart system, the dialysis support for organ donation, it was an interesting conversation.
He pointed out some good and bad points on all of them, but it show one thing "I'm in over my head when playing God". There's a lot of research info on the internet for hemes and all manner of organ manipulation, but apparently there is no substitute for a college biology or medical education. Isn't that earth-shatteringly suprising?
College Lab:
Prof."Excellent work, student. Your name?"
me: "Cecil, sir.
Prof: "Ah. excellent work on this re-animated frog. But I'm afraid this college has a very strict 'no playing God' policy, and I will have to give you a D."
Me: "But! He's rechargable!"
Prof: "D+"
Also, you could hardly tell that the carpet behind me was part of an incredibly clean apartment. Drag.
a cam update, for once
