Social Distortion |1:29 AM| Just got back from an impromptu poker game. I was up, I was down, I came out basically even, and it was a good way to spend the last evening of this vacation. During the day, I picked up all the new computer parts for my folks, and I'll assemble them tommorow afternoon. Over the weekend, I didn't manage to film the commercial for TPL, as I lacked the actress, and the blood effect. This will be made a reality, dammit.
I did manage to get a bunch of women to agree to wear the pictogram shirts, for advertising purposes. More than I expected have signed up, in fact. I'm going to end up cooking them all dinner this coming friday. I'm thinking some stir fry, or perhaps mongolian beef. It's a scalable dish, with a low time to prep, and it's easy to transport. I'd like to do something fancy, but to continue using military terms, the LZ is very rough. There are some vegatarians in the group, so a salad and some protein crumble based spagetti may be in order. Actually, this could be pretty cool. I've never catered a party before. Now all I need is booze.
The search continues for a replacement key to that old clock in the kitchen. I'll get that thing functional yet.
